west coast diaries - part eight: last day on whidbey island

May 20. This morning, we took a looooong walk on the beach, then we headed out to see the rest of the world. Haha, no. We went to Anacortes. We poked around a bit (from our car) then we had lunch at a lovely place called Washington Park. After this, we looked around in some antique shops. I found some super cool milk bottles and an old antique mixer.

We left, and headed back to the campground. By then it was about four o’clock, so we headed down to the beach with the dogs. We walked on the beach for a bit, and almost went kayaking, but decided against it for whatever reason. The evening was wifi at Starbucks, then frozen yogurt, then watching the sunset, then reviewing pictures with Katie, then eventually being convinced that we should go to sleep.

kind words are like raindrops on the desert. they make me bloom with happiness, as absolutely cliche and cheesy as that sounds. even if it's just a simple alt+3 i will heart you for it. so, go ahead! MAKE MY DAY. literally.
